Terms of use
Last updated 28 September 2026
These terms apply when you use CampusGo, run by the CampusGo team. By creating an account you agree to them and to our community guidelines. Please also read our privacy notice.
1. Who can use CampusGo
You must be a current university student aged 18 or over, with a university email address you control. One account per person. Keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
2. What CampusGo is
CampusGo is a place for students to find each other. Unless you use protected payments, deals are made directly between students, and CampusGo isn't a party to them. We don't inspect items, rooms, services or tickets, and we can't guarantee that other users are honest or that listings are accurate.
Housemate posts are introductions only. Any tenancy is between you and the landlord or other tenants.
3. Your posts
- Posts must be accurate, legal and follow the guidelines. No prohibited items, scams, fake listings or copying other people's photos or content.
- You keep ownership of what you post, and let CampusGo display it on the service for as long as it's up.
- We may remove posts, and suspend or remove accounts, that break these terms or put others at risk.
4. Selling tickets
- Only resell tickets the event's terms allow you to resell, and use the organiser's official transfer method where there is one.
- Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, resale listings must include the ticket's face value and any restrictions (such as entry time, age limit or ID required). Include these in your listing.
- Never post barcodes, QR codes or ticket numbers publicly.
5. Protected payments (when available)
- Payments are processed by Stripe. The buyer's money is held until after the event, or until the buyer confirms the ticket worked.
- CampusGo charges the seller a 10% fee, taken from the sale. The seller receives the rest when the payment is released.
- If there's a problem, report it before the money is released. We'll review it and may refund the buyer or release the payment to the seller.
- For protected swaps, both students pay a refundable deposit. If one side doesn't complete the swap, their deposit may go to the other.
- Rep code discounts and rewards are paid from CampusGo's fee and can be changed or withdrawn. Rewards aren't paid on refunded sales.
6. Ratings
Ratings must be honest and based on a real conversation or deal. We may hide ratings that are abusive, fake or unrelated.
7. Our responsibility
We work hard to keep CampusGo safe and available, but it's provided “as is”. So far as the law allows, we aren't liable for losses caused by other users, or for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
8. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time (after any protected order or swap has finished). We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
9. Changes and contact
We may update these terms, and will tell you in the app about important changes. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
